Whether for a weekend or a long vacation, traveling with your dog needs a minimum of preparation.
1. Get your dog used progressively
Start with short trips to get your dog used to the car. Gradually increase duration.
2. Secure the transport
A harness with seatbelt or a carrier crate is mandatory. Never let your dog loose in the vehicle.
3. Plan regular breaks
Every 2 hours, stop to let your dog stretch and drink.
4. Pack the essentials
Water, bowl, toys, blanket, ID papers: prepare a dedicated bag.
5. Check pet-friendly destinations
Not all accommodations welcome pets. Check before booking.
